Description:
This class is for anyone wanting to know how to use watercolor. We will
explore paper, brushes, paints, palettes, misc. supplies and some special techniques. Students will paint small projects to get their feet wet with the
last class painting their own masterpiece. Come join me and take the mystery
out of watercolor - exploring the fun media of watercolor. Very flexible with dates and times, please call to set up dates that work around your schedule.
For further information call Lynnea at 425 485-9918.
Artist Statement:
Painting is a latent gift I discovered in 1999. I started painting at Painters Haven that catered to the decorative painting. Painting only on wood with acrylic as the medium and using pattern books for the subject matter. It was not long before I decided to try to paint from pictures choosing my own colors and my own subject matter. After painting for about 5 years I attempted a portrait seminar using oils. In 2004 I tried another medium....watercolor. I took classes from Sally Logan, Robert and Sharon Long and Susan Bourdet. I feel I can use acrylic, oil and watercolor proficiently. My medium of choice is watercolor at this time in my life.
